Giray Dadali
Making films in the mountains of Türkiye to competing in off-piste freestyle jump competitions, Giray Dadali’s career is defined by an uncommon range of athletic and technical expertise. His skiing spans continents and disciplines, from raw, human-powered lines above the Black Sea — documented in Of the Black Sea — to high-consequence backcountry descents in the American West, featured in recent films Zorro and Neverender.
Beyond performance, Giray brings a deep engineering mindset to skiing. He has designed / engineered the skis for J SKIS since 2019 blending the gap of numbers to real world testing. He is also the cofounder and engineer of Daymaker Touring, an innovation focused on expanding access to touring and improving downhill performance through a modern adapter system.
Whether behind the camera, in the backcountry, or deep in the product development process, Giray’s approach is built on precision, durability, and trust in equipment — values that make ZipFit an essential part of his system.

Honestly because it's the only thing that works. Years of slopping around in boots, buying new boots thinking that was the issue when it was just packed out liners, Boot techs packing me into boots that were 2 sizes too small, fiddling nonstop with J bars and other adhesives, it was all a pain. In 2015 I bought a zipfit liner in Jackson Hole and it transformed my world of ski boots forever.
